posted a message on Trump v. Hillary in Minecraft with MCreator Tutorial

The title pretty much sums this up. Creating a mod pack is very easy to do with MCreator, and MCSkin3D is very helpful. However, MCreator only runs in 1.11.2 at this time.

For a slower tutorial, see the second video below.

Just having fun with the mod pack creator.

The second event was a success. We had some really great PvP players attend. PvP Island worked very well, Swampland was a bit of a dud.

    Thanks for playing:

If someone is young and they want to play minecraft in one of my events, that's great, I'm more than happy to have them as a guest.

However, I'd rather not interact with young players over discord, and I don't want to have to delete curse words in order to use some of the gameplay on my YT Channel. I have about 15 other YTers that drop in for some events, they want the family friendly requirement for their own recordings as well.

If you want to attend and record an event, you can curse all you want, just not on my discord or in chat. Let me know if you want to attend.

    IGN: Makingroceries

Age: 18 +, but less than dirt

    Timezone: US Pacific

Discord Username and tag: Makingroceries (Can I keep my tag private for now? I'll share it in a PM if you actually want to consider me.)

Do you have a mic and will you speak with it: Yes

Show us some stuff what you've made with command blocks: Check out my YT channel: Look at: Mob Arena; Cutthroat Island; U(m)HC, ultra modded hard core; Zombie Attack; and PvP Island.

Why do you want to join: For fun. It's better to play MC with others than by yourself. I can accomplish more by collaborating with others. I have a few projects that are stalling out, and I need help with building.

Link to my channel above, I always have family friendly content.

My main goal for the channel is just to have fun with it, meet new people, and play Minecraft. I would like to have 100 subscribers and become monetized, but that's just an ancillary goal I set for myself. I enjoy making modded maps and modded UHCs. I always need people to play the maps. A YT channel is the best way to develop a network of Minecraft friends.

I was a member of the Comrade SMP which is now defunct (the leader of the group stepped down, and the members lost interest). I am a member of Outcraft SMP which is now on its way to becoming defunct (the leader quit, and the server will end in March).

I'm hosting a modded PvP map next week, if you or any other WeBes want to attend send me a PM. It might be a good way for you to check me out.

    Second Event

Either PvP Island or PvP Swampland depending on the amount of RSVPs. The PvP is vanilla with a scoreboard: Kills minus Deaths = Score. High score wins, gameplay is expected to last 20 minutes.

This way we can have PvP with unlimited lives, but deaths matter, so people will have to be careful/honest in battle. The goal is to have UHC like PvP without mining resources, and if you die, it's not the end of the game.

The event is open to the public, please RSVP here or in a PM if you want to play.

posted a message on What should I use to move my build?

Looks pretty cool. I think maybe four sets of structure blocks ought to do it. Pain in the neck but doable. I moved a giant sailboat from an old world to a new world with two sets of structure blocks. It took about ten minutes. You can even move all of the items inside the house, like beds and even command blocks with the commands in them.

The real issue is, if you haven't used structure blocks before, it's going to take longer to learn how to use them, than it will to move four sets.

posted a message on What should I use to move my build?

I've used structure blocks to move large items, and it isn't easy. I think the structure block can only copy/save areas that have sides that are 32 blocks long, which is probably not feasible for what you are trying to do. For a large building, you have to use two sets of structure blocks. Then you have to load the halves back together to match it up in the new place.

However, you can copy and paste the structure block save from one world save file to another world save by manually opening the MC folders. This is pretty nice when you have a nice house. You can move it from one world to another.

I tried to make my dog sit while holding flint and steel. I lit the dog on fire. It ran in my house made out of wool and wood. Half of the house burned down, the dog died.
